2026
This animation explores how the past continues to exist alongside the present. It begins with a blinking face, and the camera moves into the eye, revealing a system of clock-like gears. Small figures run along these rotating paths.
These figures represent past experiences, memories, and versions of the self. They continue moving even as time moves forward, suggesting that the past is not left behind but exists simultaneously with the present.
Moments of sudden memory can be understood as these “figures” catching up to us. Rather than something distant, the past is constantly in motion within us.
The work invites viewers to consider what from their past is still active — and what is still turning inside them.
